Pushing Past Survival
The Ramsey Duke Organization for Indigenous Wellness exists to support individuals and families facing homelessness, housing instability, poverty, and other barriers to self-sufficiency.
Through outreach, advocacy, resource navigation, and community partnerships, we work to ensure that people are not just surviving- they are moving towards stability, opportunity, and hope.
Who We Are
The Ramsey Duke Organization was founded on a simple belief: no one should have to face life’s challenges alone.
We serve individuals experiencing homelessness, economic hardship, and barriers to services. Our work focuses on meeting people where they are, building trust, and connecting them with the resources needed to create lasting change.
While we serve all community members, we recognize the unique challenges faced by Indigenous populations.
It’s estimated that over 70% of all Native Americans in the United States live in urban areas. Economic instability, poverty, limited access to services, housing shortages and substandard infrastructure are often the primary reasons individuals seek better lives and opportunities outside the Reservation.
Unfortunately, many of them are met with just as many challenges as they had hoped to leave behind.
We are here to change that.
